The calathea rufibarba is known for its fuzzy, fur-like underleaf texture which is quite unusual in its genus. Leaves are a rich green on the top and a dark burgandy underneath. Although this plant is an increasingly popular choice, it remains a relatively high-maintenance houseplant. It can be easy and simple to care for as long as itâs cared for in the proper environment. It can be a great beginner's houseplant but make sure to place the plant where it will receive medium to bright indirect light, shielding from direct sun (Important!).
