Regular price $24.98 Sale

This rare Sansevieria pinguicula (Pinguii) is a short, erect plant resembling a dwarf agave. It is best known for its growing habit: Unlike most Sansevieria which grow from an underground rhizome, this species produces aerial stolons which terminate in new plantlets. These then produce stilt-like roots that extend downward to the ground, resulting in a plant that appears to be walking away from its parent. Like all sansevierias, it grows best in full sun. Water only when the soil is dry. ***NOTE: These are on the smaller side as they are dwarf plants*** Included: Sansevieria pinguicula “Pinguii” Plant, 4” nursery pot, care instructions Size: All plants will shipped in a 4 inch nursery pot ***NOTE: These are on the smaller side as they are dwarf plants*** Plant Difficulty: Easy. Great for beginners and succulent lovers. Light Exposure: Can grow in bright sun to partial sun but grows best if allowed full sun. Watering: It is drought tolerant, needing water only about once every other week. Water sansevieria only when it is completely dry. As a succulent, it collects water in its leaves so overwatering may cause the plant to rot. Feed the plant once every three weeks with a general all-purpose houseplant food diluted by half. Place sansevieria in a room with an average home temperature and protect it from drafts or cooler temps below 50 F. (10 C.).
