Calathea Orbifolia is a perfect houseplant for plant lovers who love patterns and calatheas. They are gorgeous in color with various shades of green and white stripes creating a dramatic contrast. The Calathea Orbifolia is not best for beginners as it requires specific care for it to thrive in the proper environment. It will need to be placed somewhere it receive medium to bright indirect light, shielding from direct sun as its leaves will burn (Important!). It also requires constant moisture in summer and humidity is a must to maintain its health. While this plant is beautiful and fun to watch grow, it is not a plant recommend for beginners but you never know! If you follow the proper care instructions you will have a happy and healthy orbifolia plant!

Plant Difficulty: Hard.
Light Exposure: Bright, indirect light. Ideally a spot within a room without direct sunlight is best. Too much direct sun will cause problems.
Watering: In summer months, ensure your plant has moist soil at all times. It will need watering nearly everyday. Calatheas also benefit from a mist periodically to maintain high humidity.
